I enjoy seeing a black and white illustration become a full color cartoon. Here is an example of a cartoon sketch of a caveman golfer that I colored and brought to life. The first step is to get the right proportions and features in the sketch that I wanted. I then erase all unnecessary lines and darken and strengthen the lines I am using. The sketch is then scanned into the computer and made into a vector file through a vector graphics program. Then I can digitally color the illustration piece by piece.
